“For me, the shapes conjure a sense of freshness and fragility. At the same time the textures represent a metaphor for life itself … growth, vitality, pulsation. I love the contrast of the top and bottom surfaces. They speak of duality in all its incarnations: yin and yang, Ganga and Yamuna, dark and light. I believe everybody has an emotional response when they see natural objects.”
